Isabel

Hello. Everybody!

My name is Isabel Silva.

I am thirty-two years old; I´m from Bragança, but now I am living in Macedo de Cavaleiros.
I have three children, 2 boys (twins) with two, and a girl with six years old.
I am a student-worker.
I´d like to share my own experience about being a student worker: It is great and very exciting.
I am living a wonderful time of my life; I never thought that it could happen to me, because I stopped my classes a long time ago.
One day, I was at home with an old friend; she told me she was going to back to school. At first I thought “she´s crazy”, she can´t be serious, she´s married, children to take care of; she will not have time to do everything that she wants.
My friend started the degree and she is loving the experience. Next year, it will be my turn, I thought “God, help me”, but I´m going to try to do something for myself, starting a degree was something that I always wanted. Because I like to share knowledge with children and stay near them, so if I would able to give classes it would be fantastic for me. Since I started, I´ve already made so many friends, learnt a lot of things that I thought didn´t exist. And all the information that teachers transmit is really worth.
I chose the degree of foreign languages, English and Spanish, and I am not regretting: this is really what I want – to be a teacher of English and Spanish, but with this degree you can also work in a variety group of companies.
When we make something for ourselves and for other people, it´s like you are born again, and humans must feel alive.
Don´t let this opportunity go away, ask for information in http://www.ipb,.pt and try the difference, maybe it´s time to make a change in your life and you should believe that you can.
